Minesweeper edge work before the dig

An experiential minesweeper note — expanding a safe border for fourteen minutes, then one counted dig instead of a guess in the middle.

What this sitting was about

Intermediate minesweeper is local arithmetic plus border discipline. This sitting spent most of fourteen minutes widening a safe edge; the last dig was forced by counts, not hope.

What actually happened on the table

Minesweeper is local counting plus safe expansion: widen the edge before a fifty-fifty dig. Flagging early felt productive and blocked a clear opening. Clearing numbers first made the remaining mine obvious.

One line to keep for next time

Expand the known border until the dig is no longer a coin flip.
